Badger & Bear - A company based in Bideford, North Devon who specialise in tailor-made clothing with so much vibrancy and colour that you know when you’re wearing Badger and Bear! I adore Kelly's clothes and her fabric choices are incredible! She also creates zero waste clothing which goes so well with our family ethos. Check out her website, she does both adult and children’s clothing as well as lovely stocking fillers.
As a company we hope to collaborate a bit more with Kelly. We will be introducing her zero waste cloth wipes into our reception area over the next couple of weeks so watch this space...
Wanderlust Life Jewellery - A company you’re bound to of heard of! A beautiful jewellery store located in Braunton, North Devon. Wanderlust Life founder and creative director Georgie Roberts launched the brand from her spare bedroom in the local seaside village of Croyde in 2013. From there it’s evolved into a global brand. They design and make their jewellery in their Braunton studio with their best selling piece, the fine cord necklace, available in so many lovely colours. Alongside their exquisite visual mantra inspired pieces they have a brilliant sustainability ethos.
Johns of Instow & Appledore - these shops are brimming with beautiful and local items all set to tempt you. The produce within the shop and cafe are all locally sourced seasonal food which supports the local community too. They do online delivery as well as local delivery, from things like cheese and meat to rums and wine! If you are local be sure to pop in as their cafe is filled with incredible food and the deli has a wide selection of goodies too.
Dry Robe - a company you’re bound to have heard of! But did you know they started just around the corner from us? Gideon Bright, a North Devon UK based surfer and the founder of Dry Robe explains in their journal that his Mum who was a dab hand with a sewing machine created him this ‘robe’ for Christmas when he was 16.
They sell much more than the original dry robes which are the most incredible fast drying and super warm garment! So much so that I see them all of the time on the school run - so they have surpassed their original design purpose of swimming, surfing or any outdoor adventures that you might have! Take a look at their website for the full range of products that they sell - even better they are a B Corp Certified Company means that our business practices are recognised for promoting positive environmental and social change!
